The best thing about summer in the desert is the yearly monsoon! This beloved seasonal weather event brings short, intense thunderstorms to the hot and dry desert. Temps drop and everyone gets a little relief from the heat. These trinket dishes are inspired by those summer storms. Made on either buff or black clay, these feature a metallic drip, metallic lightning bolt, white glazed cloud, and blue raindrops. The rest of the clay is left unglazed. These have been one of my best sellers in retail shops and local art markets. Dishes measure approx. 4.5″ round. Each one is slightly unique due to the handmade nature. Not intended for food, not food safe.
